Skills for my new year
1 - Add THE FOUNDRY NUKE to my personal palette of tools.
Not for mockups and demos, but for real high end productions.
It’ll cost a new term @ FxPhd, and maybe an online course @ Escape Studios. In a perfect world, I would be able to go to London this spring, just to attend the IRL course @ Escape Studios… 18 weeks of intensive Compositing. Hey dude, do you have 10K£ ? :-)
2 - Keep on blogging in english. Ok, my native language is french, a very complicated latin language… I’m proud of using it… but all my softwares are in english now. Innovation, research and business are in english. Even in France they do speak franglish.
3 - Complete my immigration papers.
4 - Stay calm and zen when I receive some of these “Disney’s Notes” type of emails from a client… you know : “Just some changes… It’s almost done…” and 40 pages of changes…:-)
5 - Do not anticipate work. Wait for the money AND THEN begin to work.
6 - Stop making wishes for a perfect world. :-)
